I’m Erika Marian, a photographer based in Edinburgh, UK.
My work focuses on quiet visual narratives shaped by natural light, spatial detail, and lived environments. Influenced by time spent living and working across Europe, I’m drawn to subtle narratives and understated compositions that invite a slower way of seeing. Rather than documenting destinations, my approach centres on presence and mood: the textures of a room, the rhythm of everyday, and the emotional imprint of spaces both inhabited and passed through.
With roots in both fine art and documentary photography, my practice balances observation with intention. I approach each project as a visual essay, allowing images to unfold naturally rather than directing or staging moments.
My work is available for editorial features, image licensing, and commissioned projects.
